Quick Tip Tuesday - Select it ALL!
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our email newsletter or RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
Sometimes you need to select a whole bunch of things on one layer, but how to do it? Take the magic wand and click on each one? Takes time, and what if you miss something? OR what if they’re small and hard to click on. OR what if there are a zillion of them?
In Photoshop and PSE, there’s an easy peasy way!
Hold your CTRL key and click on the layer thumbnail, and everything on that layer will be selected!
In the example above, I was using a bubble template, over my blue paper. Now I have the template selected, I can switch to my background layer by clicking on the layer palette, and CTRL+C to copy.
Change to my layout window and CTRL+V to paste and TaDA… bubbles!! Quick as a wink!
I decided to use this tip when it came up in our FREE demo classes we did on Sunday, and several people did not know how to do this! It will save you SO much time! We went over a couple more tips and techniques, and had a great time! If you missed out on the four sessions we did Sunday, we’re planning more soon, so watch this blog!
Happy Scrapping!
Jenn
